A: This Sloan H-1015-A Tail Flow Control Kit (Part #163917) is installed within the tailpiece between the stop body and the main valve body on High-Efficiency Flushometers that are 0.25 GPF (Gallon Per Flush) or 0.125 GPF (Gallon Per Flush). This flow control does not have any effect on how the flushometer operates during a normal flush cycle. The purpose of this part is to limit water flow in the rare event of a flushometer malfunction.
