Q: we have one at our shop and the sensitivity I think needs adjusted because every time you walk by it, to get to the toilet it flushes both times you walk by. we figured out it needs new batteries. because the yellow light flashes. "they are great to have"

A: A flashing Yellow light will mean that the 4 "C" size batteries need to be replaced. To easily access the batteries and adjust the sensor range we suggest getting the Sloan EBV-119 Hex Wrench for SMO (Part #133979). To access the battery compartment remove the set screw on the side of the unit using the Hex Wrench for SMO. Once the set screw is removed the battery tray will slide out. While the battery tray is removed the front cover can be removed by rotating cover upwards. Once the cover is removed you will have access to the sensor adjustment screw on the lower left face of the unit. You can use the Hex Wrench SMO to make the range adjustments. To increase range turn clockwise, to decrease range turn counter-clockwise. While making adjustment ensure that there are no non-permanent objects in the sensor's path.
