The old solenoid was corroded and did not work. This solenoid was easy to install and solved our problem with the flush valve not flushing. (Posted on 2/27/2018)

This Sloan EBV-136-A G2 Solenoid (Part #101428) connects to the blue or green Electronic Module in the Sloan Battery Operated Flushometers.

If this looks like the Solenoid in your Flushometer, it is likely to be the correct one. The number that is stamped on the Solenoid does not reflect the part number for purchasing, it's simply a manufacturing number.

Q: Do you make a model that comes with a stainless steel plunger on the solenoid, are units are rusting and jamming in the open position causing flooding of our rest rooms.The remodel is only two years old.

A: Sloan does not make an alternative to this EBV-136-A G2 Solenoid (Part #101428). This solenoid should last 3 to 6 years in a flushometer but can be affected by water quality, high traffic, regular maintenance, and installation. A: This solenoid is used on all Sloan G2, Solis, and Ecos sensor operated flush valves, no matter which gallons per flush the porcelain is.
