Q: I have 10 of these valves that were in my stock when I started at the county. Am I able to remove the adapt bushing where the ground joint adapt threads into and then install the adjustable tailpieces normally installed on sloan so than I could use the sloan screw stops instead of delany and get rid of these pain in my butt ground joint connections

Yes, you can switch the existing Ground Joint Assembly with a Sloan H-551-A Tail Assembly (Part #101293).

The existing Ground Joint has loctite and is threaded into place. To remove this, we recommend warming up the Ground Joint where it threads into the valve body. The loctite will become more pliable for easier removal.
